Here are the notable updates to our services in the month of October 2023.
Introducing Dedicated E-Library Section in an Exam (L2) Page
Matching our L2 updates for LIVE Classes, and Video Courses, we are excited to share with you our updates for ‘E-Library’ this month. As per this feature update, a new ‘E-Library’ section would now be displayed on the Exam (L2) Page. The highlights of the section would be as following:
- E-Library Course Cards
A new card on L2 Page would display E-Library course details, including price, discount percent, course name, and total PDFs. If the course is purchased, then a ‘purchased’ icon is displayed. If the user hovers on the card an ‘eye animation’ is shown.
- Popup for E-Library Course:
If the user clicks on a card then a popup related to that course is opened.
Left Part
Shows the logo on top, the total no. of PDFs in the course, a buy now section with the current price and the original price. If the user buys the course, then the buy now option is removed.
Right Part
Right part of the card will list all E-books present in the course. For E-books that are not free or unpaid, a lock icon would be shown. An ‘eye’ icon would be shown for e-books that are marked as ‘free’ or if the course has been purchased.
- QR Code Popup for E-books
If the user has purchased the course, or if the PDF is marked as ‘free’, then clicking on the PDF would lead to a QR Code Popup. Scanning the QR code would open the e-book on the client’s WL App, where the student would be able to read it. To eliminate any risk of piracy, or unauthorized download, the PDFs would only open on the client’s WL app, and not on any web client.
Introducing Refer and Earn Program on WL App
Refer and Earn is now available on WL App. Earlier the feature was solely available on WL Portal. Now, you can distribute rewards to your students for referring the WL app to their friends, family, and colleagues.
Activation Keys Update: Now Download the Unused Keys in a CSV file
We have made some updates to the activation key download feature for our clients. Previously, a PDF containing all activation keys was provided for download. However, now when you download activation keys, you will receive a CSV file that includes only the available activation keys. Please note that only unused activation keys will be downloaded from now on.
Text Editor Update: Introducing the Functionality to Add Tables
We have released a new feature, which enables our clients to insert a table in their custom content – Tests, Questions, Current Affairs, and News. A new icon is added for ‘Inserting Table’ in the editor.
On clicking the icon a popup for the table creation would be provided.
Improved Live Class Whiteboard
We have provided some major feature enhancement for the whiteboard in Live class. The list of improvements made is given below:
1. A new “Show/Hide Full Screen” button has been added to the whiteboard interface.
2. Participants’ video feeds, chat window, participant list, and essential buttons are smartly repositioned to ensure that the live class host has a clear view of all critical components without compromising on screen real estate.
3. The interaction with the whiteboard is now designed to be intuitive. As you click the designated buttons, the whiteboard gracefully hides. Upon releasing the button, the whiteboard elegantly reappears, ensuring that the transition is seamless and free from any disruptions.
