Here are the notable updates to our services in the month of June 2023.

#1. Sell LIVE Class Courses through Direct Android App Link

You can now share links for the purchase of LIVE Class Courses on the Android App! The feature has been introduced to increase the sales opportunities for the clients, as the link can be used to market a specific course on Blogs, Social Media Posts, or directly to a student.

Opening the link would redirect to the LIVE Class Course Page on the Android App, where the course can be purchased. In case the user has already purchased the LIVE class course, the link would access the LIVE Class content.

The link will be generated from Admin Panel : Courses > Live Class Course > Share Icon on Right

#2. Schedule Multiple LIVE Classes at Once

With the June update, we have introduced a new feature that allows for bulk scheduling of LIVE classes, making it easier for our clients to manage their schedules. Now clients don’t have to schedule each class one by one, instead they can schedule multiple classes at once.

To access the feature click on the Details button associated with an active* LIVE class, after filling details of one class, click Schedule Another Class button to schedule the next class.

*Active means that the LIVE class Course duration should not have expired.

#3. Bookmark Questions to View After Submission

‘Bookmark’ feature lets students bookmark a question which they find difficult while attempting the test, and review it after submission. To bookmark a questions simply select “Mark for review and next” while attempting the question. The bookmarked question will be visible on the test report page, under the View Solution option. The bookmarked question will display a Blue Tag

#4. Schedule Tests for All Classes Under Classroom Assistance

July Updates bring the ability to schedule tests for all classes/batches created under ‘Classroom Assistance‘.

To schedule a test for all classes/batch:
WL admin panel > Classroom Assistance > Schedule > Batch> Schedule to All

#5. Countdown Timer for the Upcoming Test

Countdown timer for a scheduled test would now be visible in Upcoming Exam section of a student’s My Profile Page. A student can take the test directly by clicking the Attempt button on the page.

#6. Bug Fix: Classroom Assistance Module

We have released a major fix in Classroom Assistance feature. Earlier, scheduling a test for a specific class through Classroom Assistance module used to restrict users outside the class from attempting any test on the portal. The problem persisted even thought the said user had purchased any unrelated L2 package.

To rectify the error, the following changes have been made to the WL Admin Portal:

Independent Tests tab is REMOVED from WL admin panel > Classroom Assistance and The process to make tests independent is updated.
Visible to all option is removed.
If a test from any L2 is getting scheduled then ONLY the tests belongs to the scheduled L2 will be blocked for all the users outside the classroom. (Previously all the L2s were getting blocked)
At the time of scheduling the test, the client can specify the test which needs to be open for all to attempt. ie : independent test.

#7. Allocation and Removal of E-Library Courses

New feature update in WL Admin Panel allows for the allocation and removal of E-Library Courses to users, similar to allocation and removal of Video Courses and Live Class Courses.
Upon client request, EduGorilla’s Tech Team will generate the necessary activation keys.
Within the client portal’s Admin Panel, under the “Coupons > Allot/Remove” section, clients can easily allocate and remove E-Library Courses for their users.

#8. Timely Notification for Scheduled LIVE Class on Android App

We have implemented a new feature that aims to enhance the user experience by sending timely notifications to users before the scheduled time of their live classes. When there are only 10 minutes left until the scheduled start time of a live class, our Android App will automatically send a notification to all users who have purchased that specific live class course. This notification serves as a helpful reminder to the students, ensuring they have enough time to prepare and join the live class promptly.

#9. Download Videos from Video Courses in Android App

You can now download videos (under a Video Course) in android app. Users will have the option of downloading the same video in different qualities like 240p, 360p, 480p and 720p.

#10. Create and Host LIVE Class Courses from the Android App

EduGorilla team feels good to announce that now our clients can create and host LIVE class courses from their android phones! The option available while creating a LIVE class course would be similar to the ones available on creating a LIVE class course on WL Website. Similar to the WL website, they would also be able to schedule , and then record their LIVE Class via Screen Recording or Screen Sharing.
