Gibbon’s New Exam Creation/ Level 0 Addition is an Add-On which facilitates educators to add content for a new exam. This facility enable educators to target a ‘niche’ exam, or create ‘Levels’ for their own custom exam. The custom exams can cover Scholarship Tests, Entrance Tests, Pre-Boards of Schools, and such. This article provides a step by step guide for New Exam/ Level 0 Addition on a client’s portal.

Prerequisites

Clients must have ‘Admin Access’ to the portal/website.
Client must have requested, and paid for the New Exam/ Level 0 Addition Feature, post which a new Online Exam would be added to the client’s database.

As said in the Prerequisites, for each New Exam/ Level 0, client must contact EduGorilla’s sales representative and request for the option to be enabled. After the request a new Online Exam Level would be added to the client’s database. An email template for doing so is given below.

Note:
New Exam/ Level would be added as Online Exam on the client’s database. The client then has to manually rename each level of the Online Exam to create a custom exam.

In order to rename the Levels, client has to access the Admin portal.

How to Access the Admin Panel?

The first step is to access the admin portal. For this just type the URL of the White label site, and Log in using Admin Credentials.

After successful login, the silence name would be visible on the same spot for ‘login button’. Click on it & select ‘Admin Panel’ Option.

How to Rename Level 1?

To rename Level 1 follow the path given below.

Path: Admin Portal > Content > Personal Content > Edit Categories

A screen (given below) would be displayed. Select Level 1 on the screen.

Note:
It is imperative the client renames Level 1 before Level 0. New Online Exam would not be available in the Level 0 dropdown menu, unless Online Exam in the Level 1 has been renamed first.

Now select Online Exam in the dropdown menu under Level 0.

Under Online Exam there would be two options available – Recruitment Test, & Evaluation Test.

Depending upon the new exam type, choose an option from dropdown, and then rename it. Click on Submit when finished.

The Level has been renamed.

How to Rename Level 0?

Now that Level 1 has been renamed, clients can rename Level 0. For this, they have to follow the same as for Level 1, and choose Level 0 option from the screen.

Then simply provide the name, and a 56×56 thumbnail image for the exam.

How to Rename Level 2?

The method to rename Level 2 is the same as that of Level 0. Like the Level 0, here two clients have to provide a Name, and a 56×56 image.

How to Create New Level 3 & Level 4?

Create New Level 3 or Level 4

If the client feels that the new created Level 0 exam warrants a new ‘Level’ they can create new Level 3 & Level 4 through Categories Option.

Levels define where the content would be visible on the website or app, and the specific tests that could be accessed. Gibbon supports 4 levels – Level 0, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4. Out of which Level 3, & Level 4 can be created by the client.

Remember: Only Level 3 and Level 4 can be created by the client. For creating Level 0, Level 1, and Level 2, please follow the steps given above

Follow the path given below to create new Level 3, and Level 4

Path: Dashboard > Content > Personal Content > Categories

Select the Level you want to create. Level 3 or Level 4
Now enter Name, Section Tag, Question Tag. Tags are to categorize content and to easily navigate to the similar content.
A message resembling ‘New Level Created Successfully’ would be displayed upon successful completion.

How to Rename Level 3, Level 4, & Level 5?

The process to rename Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 is similar to that of Level 1. A demonstration video to edit Level 5 has been given below.
