The interesting thing about this story is that Mr. Jaikant S. Reddy- a native of Salem, Tamil Nadu – did not start his professional career as an educator. Instead, he started out as a Customer Support Executive for a local vendor of Salem. The limited teaching experience he had was teaching his own child the subjects of Class X, after work or during weekends. Eventually his relative, and even neighbors insisted that he taught their children too. So, by the end of 2019 Jaikant S. Reddy only had 8 students to teach.

Naturally, Mr. Reddy quit his job soon after lockdown was lifted, and by the middle of 2021 he was home-tutoring 90+ students in 4 batches a day! However, the number of classes that can be taken in a day, and the number of students that can be accommodated at his premises were fast becoming setbacks to his career.
