All so that our clients can have a seamless, effortless, and hassle-free experience of scaling their business online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the notable updates to our services in the month of&nbsp;<strong>August 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Anti-Piracy Measures Added on iOS Platform<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are excited to announce a significant feature enhancement in our iOS app. As of the latest update, we have <strong>implemented measures to prevent any screenshot or screen recording while using White label (WL) iOS app<\/strong>. <br>When anyone attempts to take a screenshot or tries to record the screen within app, the captured content will be replaced by a blank white screen. This means that any attempt to capture the screen will not reveal any of the app&#8217;s content, thus removing any possibility of content piracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Transactions on iOS App Made More Secure<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from anti-piracy measures, we also have made significant security enhancements in our iOS app that ensure a safer and more reliable experience for all our users. With this latest update, when a user undertakes a transaction through our iOS app, the server will now perform a thorough verification process to validate the transaction and update the user accordingly.<br>This additional layer of security guarantees that each purchase is genuine and protected against any potential unauthorized attempts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Your Portal, Your Sign-Up Form &#8211; Now<\/mark> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Customize Sign Up Form Yourself<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1691\" height=\"776\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image-17.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9307\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With the August update we have enabled signup form customizations by the clients themselves. Clients just have to request EduGorilla Sales Representative or EduGorilla Support Team to enable this feature, and they would be able to make changes to their Sign-Up form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-background\">Once enabled the option would be available under:<br><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">WL admin panel &gt; Customization &gt; Customize Webpages &gt; Login\/Signup &gt; Customize Signup Form<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1860\" height=\"905\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/custom-fields-dropdown-and-other-as-textfield-option.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9308\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Clients will be able to<strong>&nbsp;add or delete&nbsp;<\/strong>signup form fields. The field type can either be text or dropdown type. However mandatory fields cannot be deleted by the client.<\/li><li>There is an option to enable country dropdown. This option will be visible&nbsp;<strong>only for international clients<\/strong>.<\/li><li>There is an option to choose the default dropdown&nbsp;for&nbsp;state and city. This option is&nbsp;<strong>only for domestic (Indian) clients<\/strong>.<\/li><li>If city dropdown is enabled, State dropdown&nbsp;will automatically be enabled. On disabling state dropdown city dropdown will automatically be disabled.<\/li><li>Records of additional fields will be visible on<strong>&nbsp;Analytics &gt; Signup<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-pink-background-color has-background\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> This feature is not available to clients by default, they have to get it activated by contacting EduGorilla Sales\/Support Executives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Upload Desktop Banners for E-Book Courses<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar to the<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/product-update-july-2023\/Live-class-update\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/product-update-july-2023\/Live-class-update\" target=\"_blank\">Live Class Courses Update<\/a><\/mark>, clients can now upload desktop version of banner images in addition to mobile version for their E-Book course. Banners can be previewed by simply clicking on the visible banner in the Existing E-Book Courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How to Upload Mobile, and Desktop Banners for E-Book Courses\" width=\"770\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IjjKvAit7_0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-background wp-block-list\"><li>For the best display, EduGorilla recommends the desktop banner image of the size 1920 x 300 pixels.<\/li><li>Clients can now preview the full banners of the course by simply clicking on the banner shown under the <strong><em>Course Details <\/em><\/strong>section.<\/li><li>Clients can also update\/remove the banner image for their existing courses by selecting the <strong><em>Edit Course Details Option<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">PhonePe Payment Portal Integration<\/mark> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have added<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/product-update-april-2023\/#stripe\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/product-update-april-2023\/#stripe\" target=\"_blank\"> another payment option<\/a><\/mark> to our WL portals &#8211; <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"40\" class=\"wp-image-9324\" style=\"width: 150px;\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/honepay.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-pink-background-color has-background\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> This feature is not available to clients by default, they have to get it activated by contacting EduGorilla Sales\/Support Executives.<br><br>Further,<br>&#8211; The payment gateway will be enabled <strong>only<\/strong> for unlimited clients.<strong><br><\/strong>&#8211;<strong> T+ 2 <\/strong>payments would <strong>not be enabled <\/strong>on the portal.<br>&#8211; It<strong> cannot be integrated <\/strong>for the international client.<strong><br><\/strong>&#8211; It is mandatory to provide<strong> Merchant_id, App_id, Salt and Salt_index<\/strong> to integrate the gateway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">&#8216;Bulk Price Update&#8217; Update Option Added in Packages<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How to Change Prices of Multiple Test Packages (Bulk Update)\" width=\"770\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f5X3b_wlga0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now users can update the price of multiple test packages in a single click with Bulk Update option. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bulk Update prices would be applicable for a certain validity only (30 days, 90 days, etc.).<\/li><li>Users also have to specify the type of package (Prestigious, &amp; Non-Prestigious) they want to update in bulk.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Delete User Profiles from the WL Portal<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have released a feature to delete users from the WL admin panel. The option will be visible on<strong> WL admin panel &gt; Analytics &gt; Signup.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1258\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Screen-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9318\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Edit Scheduled Live Classes<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This update serves the purpose of allowing users to seamlessly modify the details of live classes that have already been scheduled. <strong><em>However, it&#8217;s important to remember that adjustments to the &#8216;Start Date&#8217; can only be made within the window of one hour prior to the original scheduled time. <\/em><\/strong>The details that can be modified are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Lecture Name<\/li><li>Subject (if applicable)<\/li><li>Start Date<strong> (up to one hour prior to the scheduled time)<\/strong><\/li><li>Duration<\/li><li>&#8216;Free&#8217; class toggle<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To edit the details of a LIVE Class, follow the path:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-background\"><strong><em>WL Admin Panel &gt; Courses &gt; Live Class Courses &gt; Details (Button)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1032\" height=\"282\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image-22.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9319\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Kindly take note that the &#8216;Edit&#8217; button will remain visible consistently, even after the class has concluded.<\/li><li><strong><em>Additionally, when the Schedule time of a live class is changed, an Android notification regarding this is also sent to the students<\/em><\/strong> who have purchased that live class course.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Updates Made to Notification Feature for Live Class Courses<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have made two major upgrades to the notification delivery subsystem for Live Class courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>#1 <\/strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><strong>Students would <strong>Receive<\/strong><\/strong><\/mark> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><strong>Email Notifications for Upcoming Live Class<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Apart from getting <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/product-update-june-2023\/#notification\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/product-update-june-2023\/#notification\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">App Notifications<\/mark><\/a>, students would also get timely email notifications <strong><em>(10 minutes prior)<\/em><\/strong> whenever Live Classes (in the Live Class Courses subscribed by them) are scheduled. Additionally, if a Live class happens to be rescheduled, a similar email notification will be generated and sent to the enrolled students.<br><br>This notification will serve as a helpful reminder to the students, offering ample time for preparation and seamless participation in the scheduled live class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><strong>#2 Android App Users would be Notified About the Live Class Schedule<\/strong><\/mark><br><br>Now, not only will students receive timely Android App Notifications for upcoming live classes, but we&#8217;ve also extended this functionality to deliver the schedules of these classes.<br>This enhancement ensures that every student subscribed to the course remains well-informed and prepared for each session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Introduction of Whiteboard in Live Classes<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have released a feature that allows clients to use Whiteboards in Live class. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1432\" height=\"776\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/k.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9331\"\/><figcaption>Whiteboard Option When Hosting From Web<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:26% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"406\" height=\"775\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/WhiteBoard-Button-MWeb.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9328 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Whiteboard feature can be easily accessed through a dedicated <strong><em>whiteboard<\/em><\/strong> button located in the footer section of the Live Class interface <strong><em>(When hosting from mobile, click on the three-dot button to reveal whiteboard option).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Clients can <strong><em>Save<\/em><\/strong> the existing Whiteboard or <strong><em>Open<\/em><\/strong> a previously saved Whiteboard.<\/li><li>A <strong>Dark Mode <\/strong>option is also available, along with a <strong>Help <\/strong>section.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1410\" height=\"784\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/WhiteBoard-Reset-Button.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9332\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Introducing Dedicated <\/strong><strong style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Live Class Section in an Exam (L2) Page<\/strong><\/mark> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1856\" height=\"916\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image-21.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9312\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We have now introduced a dedicated &#8216;Live Class&#8217; section in an exam page (L2 Page). The section would display:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>Ongoing Live Classes<\/em> <em>Displayed for the Users to Join <\/em><\/strong><br>The ongoing Live classes (at the time) would now be displayed to the students.<br><br>&#8211; If a class is live and open (free) then students can join the live class simply by clicking the <strong><em>Join Now<\/em><\/strong> button.<br>&#8211; When a class is not free and not purchased then &#8216;LIVE&#8217; icon would be showed, and students would have the option to buy the course by clicking on the <em><strong>View Course<\/strong> <\/em>button.<br>&#8211; When a class is not free but the student has purchased that course previously, he\/she would be will be able to join a live class  simply by clicking the <strong><em>Join Now<\/em><\/strong> button.<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Live Class Course Cards<\/em><\/strong><br>Live Class course cards with all the details of course &#8211; price, course, name, language detail etc. &#8211; would be visible on the L2 exam page.<br>&#8211; If the course is purchased the relevant card is shown with the purchased thumb icon in place of price details.<br>&#8211; If the student hovers on a card, then an eye animation is shown.<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Course Popup<\/em><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1751\" height=\"883\" src=\"https:\/\/gibbon.edugorilla.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/image-20.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9311\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If a user clicks on a card, then open a popup related to that course opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The popup shows a <strong>logo on top, course description, demo, upcoming classes, the previously scheduled classes, and recorded past Live classes<\/strong>, <strong>and &#8220;Buy now section&#8221; for paid courses. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-background\">The &#8220;Buy Now Section&#8221; option would be disabled for Free classes or for the classes already subscribed by the student, in that case clicking on the play button would <strong><em>generate a QR code for the WL App<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Use EduGorilla Videos to Create Video Courses<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have released a feature that allows clients to bundle the videos provided by EduGorilla as well as their self-uploaded videos to create new video courses.
